Mitch and Joey are the visionaries behind Sound Healing Tulum and Cenote Sagrado Events, a sanctuary designed to harmonize understated luxury with the profound energetic resonance of its natural surroundings.
With a shared background in design, architecture, and upleveling space, they bring a wealth of expertise to their creations, seamlessly blending function, beauty, and sacred intention.
Guided by the principles of sacred space and quantum design, Mitch and Joey perceive space as a living entity, where every element—from architecture to natural surroundings—vibrates with energy. This energy influences emotions, thoughts, and spiritual well-being. Every detail of their sanctuary was chosen with reverence, integrating the surrounding environment into a cohesive experience that aligns guests with the rhythms of nature.
Joey’s background in sound healing adds a unique layer of depth, curating a sanctuary where the power of sound, frequency and energy align —infusing these transformative practices into the sanctuary’s essence.

Director of Events & Weddings
Julia is a gifted creator of luxury experiences and the visionary Events Director at Cenote Sagrado Events. With a background in Industrial Design, her journey into hospitality began when she arrived in the Riviera Maya and discovered her calling in service and guest experiences. Over time, she cultivated her craft in the world of luxury hotels, ultimately spending eight years at one of the 50 best hotels in the world, where she led the Events department with distinction.
Now fully dedicated to curating transformative and bespoke events at Cenote Sagrado, Julia weaves her expertise in luxury hospitality with the spiritual vision of the sanctuary. Inspired by nature and the sacred energies of the space, she designs events that transcend the ordinary, fostering deep connection and harmony between guests and their surroundings.
As part of the Cenote Sagrado Events family, Julia views each event as a unique opportunity to align intention, beauty, and sacred energy. Whether crafting intimate gatherings or grand celebrations, her work reflects the spiritual resonance of the sanctuary, creating experiences that are not only luxurious but deeply meaningful. Her passion for connecting people and creating unforgettable moments makes her an integral part of this sacred space.
Director of Music & Frequency
Kit is a Mexican musician, activator of frequency, producer, and composer whose work transcends the boundaries of time and tradition. A master interpreter of the Egyptian harp, native flutes, ethnic instruments from across the world, and ancestral chanting, Kit channels the sacred essence of sound into transformative musical experiences. His work harmonizes ancient wisdom with modern wellness, weaving melodies that resonate deeply with the mind, body, and spirit.
Guided by a profound understanding of sound as a sacred language, Kit integrates the science of vibration with spiritual intention, exploring the neurophysiological benefits of music while honoring its ability to connect us to higher realms. His compositions are a tapestry of global influences, blending the traditions of Arabic, Indian, Egyptian, and African music with Mexican and Latin heritage. The result is a uniquely powerful sound that mirrors the sacred purpose of Sound Healing Tulum.
As the Director of Music, collaborates seamlessly with Mitch and Joey´s vision, infusing a sonic soundscape that amplifies the sacred energy of the space.
